A couple years ago, it began to feel like all of my thoughts were going to my dissertation and that my creativity in other areas was suffering.
So, every week, I began carving out time to do particular things, including writing for fun. That led in part to the short story collection, Mongrel: Short Stories, that is now officially published! You can buy it on Amazon in eBook or paperback form HERE (other purchase options below).
Mongrel is the second book published by Toasty Press, an endeavor that a friend and I are collaborating on. Included in the collection are four short stories written by me and two written by other contributors.
If you do happen to buy a copy, and rate it/leave a review, it would help the cover boy below get his favorite treats. In order to use his likeness on the cover, I agreed to cut him in on the proceeds. With his mom’s help, he drove a hard bargain. I think it is a fair deal, though, especially because one of the short stories (and the title) was inspired by him.
